Worldview Quiz

Gordon Cotterill at URBANarmy points to the quiz, What's your theological worldview? at QuizFarm.

Here is what it says about me.

You are neo-orthodox. You reject the human-centredness and scepticism of liberal theology, but neither do you go to the other extreme and make the Bible the central issue for faith. You believe that Christ is God's most important revelation to humanity, and the Trinity is hugely important in your theology. The Bible is also important because it points us to the revelation of Christ. You are influenced by Karl Barth and P T Forsyth.

Some surprises for me. I thought I was more fundamentalist than what shows up and I'm not even really sure what the emergent and postmodern church is all about. The Wesleyan, Reformed and Charismatic indications are reflective of some of the influences in my life. I was raised Wesleyan but have often appreciated the Reformed views (and many of the blogs I read are written by Presbys). I have also had some Charismatic influences although currently I reject most of their fantastic claims.

Interesting stuff, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It either shows that I'm a complex, thoughtful Christian or totally confused in what I believe!
